Concert to benefit the restoration of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Chapel

This year we are excited to host a “Lessons and Carols” concert during Advent to benefit the restoration of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Chapel downtown. The concert will be on Friday, December 13. Last year it was a beautiful concert put on by the Sedona Academy of Chamber Singers. They generously volunteered their time to put on this Advent concert. “Lessons and Carols” is a Lenten tradition that alternates between hymns and readings from Scripture that culminate in the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. Please mark your calendar for this year’s event!

While we will be taking donations at the door to support the restoration, we are also inviting business owners, organizations, families, and individuals to help sponsor this concert. If you are interested in advertising in the concert program, please contact Ben Espen at kc1229@sfdaparish.org. A special thanks to Ben and the Knights of Columbus for helping us move this forward. We are incredibly grateful and excited for this upcoming event!

Este año nos complace organizar un concierto de Lecciones y Villancicos durante el Adviento en beneficio de la restauración de la Capilla de la Natividad de la Santísima Virgen María en el centro. El concierto será el viernes 13 de diciembre. El año pasado fue un hermoso concierto organizado por la Academia de Cantantes de la Cámara de Sedona. Ellos generosamente ofrecieron su tiempo como voluntarios para organizar este concierto de Adviento. Lecciones y Villancicos es una tradición de Cuaresma que alterna entre himnos y lecturas de las Escrituras que culminan en la Encarnación de Jesucristo. ¡Marque su calendario para el evento de este año!

Si bien aceptaremos donaciones en la puerta para apoyar la restauración, también estamos invitando a los dueños de negocios a patrocinar el concierto.
