Grateful to Be Home: Preparing for What Matters

Happy Sunday!

It's great to be back in Flagstaff. I had a nice few weeks travelling, attending a conference on Catholic Education, baptizing my nephew, presiding at a wedding, and seeing some extended family. While it's always nice to have time away, I am grateful to be back!

Our teachers reported last week to get ready for the new school year and this week our students start on Wednesday. I pray our students and families had a restful summer and are ready to dive back into an exciting year.

This Friday, August 8th, at 5:30 pm we are hosting an exciting event with Catholic Community Foundation. The event is called "Get Your Affairs in Order" and is an opportunity to anyone who would like to participate to learn about various topics related to estate planning. This includes giving in a tax-smart manner, learning about wills and trusts, end of life considerations, and about Catholic funerals.

This an amazing opportunity to prepare for the future and learn about giving in a way that benefits you! Please RSVP to the Catholic Community Foundation to attend. Agradecido de Estar en Casa: Preparándome para lo que Realmente Importa

¡Feliz domingo! ¡Qué bueno estar de vuelta en Flagstaff! Disfruté de unas semanas agradables viajando, asistiendo a una conferencia sobre Educación Católica, bautizando a mi sobrino, oficiando una boda y conociendo a mi familia. Si bien siempre es agradable tener tiempo libre, ¡estoy agradecido de estar de regreso!

Nuestros maestros se presentaron la semana pasada para prepararse para el nuevo año escolar y esta semana nuestros estudiantes comienzan el miér- coles. Espero que nuestros estudiantes y familias hayan tenido un verano tranquilo y estén listos para sumergirse nuevamente en un año emocionante.

Este viernes 8 de agosto, a las 5:30 p. m., organizaremos un evento emocionante con la Fundacion Comunitaria Católica. El evento se llama "Ponga sus Asuntos en Orden" y es una oportunidad para toda persona que quiera aprender sobre diversos temas relaciona- dos con la planificación patrimonial. Esto incluye donar de manera fiscalmente inteligente, aprender sobre testamentos y fideicomisos, consideraciones al final de la vida y sobre funerales católicos.

¡Esta es una oportunidad increíble para prepararse para el futuro y aprender a donar de una manera que lo bene- ficie!
