Happy Sunday!

I hope everyone had a most enjoyable Thanksgiving! Today we start the new liturgical year with the First Sunday of Advent! I can't believe it's already here but time never slows down and so are marching on. This great season of Advent grabs our attention and directs our hearts and minds to look towards Bethlehem. The entrance antiphon for the Mass this Sunday is "To you, I lift up my soul, O my God. In you, I have trusted; let me not be put to shame.

Nor let my enemies exult over me; and let none who hope in you be put to shame". We too lift up our souls to the living God and renew our trust in Him as we look towards the great celebrations of Christmas. May this Advent season be fruitful as our hearts are renewed in hope and love. Have a great week and know of my prayers!

Mirando hacia Belén: Primer domingo de Adviento

¡Feliz domingo!

¡Espero que todos hayan tenido un día de Acción de Gracias de lo más agradable! ¡Hoy comenzamos el nuevo año litúrgico con el primer domingo de Adviento! No puedo creer que ya esté aquí, pero el tiempo nunca se ralentiza y por lo tanto siguen marchando. Esta gran temporada de Adviento llama nuestra atención y dirige nuestros corazones y mentes a mirar hacia Belén. La antífona de entrada para la Misa de este domingo es "A ti, yo levanto mi alma, oh Dios mío. En ti, he confiado; no me dejes avergonzar.

Ni mis enemigos se regocijen por mí, y nadie que espere en ti sea aver- gonzado". Nosotros también elevamos nues- tras almas al Dios vivo y renovamos nuestra confianza en Él mientras miramos hacia las grandes celebraciones de la Navidad. Que este tiempo de Adviento sea fructífero mientras nuestros corazones se renuevan en esperanza y amor. ¡Que tengan una gran semana y conozcan mis oraciones!
