Happy Sunday!

Today I leave for my vacation and sabbatical. I am sad to be leaving for such an extended period of time but look forward to having some vacation and time of renewal and growth while in Honduras. I will be remembering you all every day in prayer and at Mass. Thank you for your prayers for me for safe travels and renewal in the Lord.

Many of you have asked me about my nephew Vincent who was in a drowning accident last March when he was 14 months old. He turned two on Christmas Day and is doing amazing! Thank you so much for your continued prayers for him and my family. We are so grateful for the miracle of his life.

If you want to hear from my sister, she recorded a podcast sharing the story of that scary day and his miraculous recovery. It can be found on a podcast called "Unwritten". The title of the episode is "The McGivney Novena & Vincent's Healing: A Powerful Story of Faith & Intercession." The first time I listened to it was very tough, but also incredibly beautiful. If you get a chance to listen I hope you enjoy it. Know of my prayers for each of you and I will see you in March!

¡Feliz domingo!

Hoy me voy de vacaciones y de tiempo sabático. Me entristece irme por un período tan largo, pero estoy deseando disfrutar de mis vacaciones y de un tiempo de renovación y crecimiento en Honduras. Los recordaré a todos en mis oraciones y en la Misa todos los días. Gracias por sus oraciones por mi seguridad en el viaje y por mi renovación en el Señor.

Muchos de ustedes me han preguntado por mi sobrino Vincent, quien sufrió un accidente por ahogamiento el pasado mes de marzo, cuando tenía 14 meses. Cumplió dos años el día de Navidad y está de maravilla. Muchas gracias por sus oraciones por él y por mi familia. Estamos muy agradecidos por el milagro de su vida.

Si desean saber más, mi hermana grabó un podcast donde cuenta la historia de aquel día tan difícil y su milagrosa recuperación. Lo pueden encontrar en un podcast llamado "Unwritten". El título del episodio es "La Novena de McGivney y la sanación de Vincent: Una poderosa historia de fe e intercesión". La primera vez que lo escuché fue muy emotivo, pero también increíble- mente hermoso. Si tienen la oportunidad de escucharlo, espero que les guste. Cuenten con mis oraciones y ¡nos vemos en marzo!
